WIDOS pipe bending machine RB 110

Stationary machine for bending pipes out of thermoplasts from OD 40 up to OD 110. Built on a solid basic frame with two tables on precise linear guides and with hydraulic bending drive. Precise setting of the bending speed, the forward feed is started onto the limit stop by pressing a key.

The pipe is heated up by means of an infrared radiator with preselectable desired temperature, touchless measuring of the temperature, adjustable distance to the radiator and adjustable area of exposure. Due to this arrangement, the exact heating up of the necessary pipe segments is guaranteed.

For a radial and uniform heating up, the pipe is revolved by means of a threephase current drive and limit stops adjustable to each pipe length.

For the different pipe dimensions and bending angles, according bending moulds in solid fasteners are available which can be exchanged rapidly. Automatic insertion of the heated pipe into the bending mould by manual movement of the revolving mechanism.

Advantages for the rational production of pipe bends:

- The pipe bends can be produced without expensive moulding tools, simply out of standard pipes
- The production of any bend angles is simple
- The necessary times for small dimensions are shorter than at heating element butt welding
- There is no internal or external bead, as it is typical for heating element butt welding
